A leading law firm had an opportunity to expand their services having created a new European Team. Their established City location did not allow them to expand physically;this created an opportunity for them to review and re structure their back office support .

Following in depth review into Fee Earner Ratios and back office budgets a comprehensive programme of improved service support was developed.

:: Resulting Outcome

  • Creation of a central administrative support team located in a service centre offering greater flexibility and timely support managed by an appropriate service level agreement.
  • Fee Earner PAs role was adapted to create an elite team while tasks such as transcription,digital transcription, meeting notes , library support functions, events planning were provided by dedicated support team.
  • All fee earners received uniform level of service.
  • Project workloads were managed without the need for overtime cost etc
  • Reduction in support costs and improved service increased Fee Earner Ratios
